Some people simply age gracefully and women such as Lucy Liu, Julie Andrews, Halle Berry, Meryl Streep and Jessica Lange have kept a vibrancy and youthfulness that the years cannot steal. How do they do it? The jury is still out on that one but an effective skincare regime, good quality sleep and keep hydrated can certainly not be doing them any harm.
Halle Berry
She is the new face of Revlon and a household name when it comes to her Hollywood career. It is impossible to not be even a tiny bit envious of Halle’s glowing skin and amazing body that can still kick some butt. However, it doesn’t all come naturally. Halle admits to exercising every day and making sure she eats right (most of the time).
Meryl Streep
Whilst Meryl is always in the spotlight, attending award ceremonies and walking the red carpet, she does not forget about her skin. She is a huge fan of anti-ageing skincare products and has been quoted as saying: “At the Oscars they give you this free stuff and whatever is in that pack I smear it on for a year.”
Lucy Liu
This Hollywood A-lister is allergic to parabens in perfume and rarely uses any beauty products with harsh chemicals. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet is high on her priority list, as well as using natural skincare and makeup that doesn’t flare up her sensitive skin. She admits: “I drink a lot of water, and I’ve never had coffee. I think caffeine can be really bad for your skin. And I don’t get facials, ever.” But Lucy’s secret weapon: Acupuncture.
Julie Andrews
Julie Andrews, a timeless beauty who will remain a role model of many till the end of time. The British beauty says her secret to drink as much liquid as she can to keep her skin looking fresh. She has been quoted as giving this simple piece of beauty advice: “Drink bottled water wherever you go.”
Jessica Lange
There has been a lot of controversy as to whether Jessica has gone under the knife but, regardless of that, she has shown the world that a woman can still be beautiful, sensual and desirable after the age of 60. She was the face of Marc Jacobs in 2014, introducing their new makeup and skincare line and chosen due to appeal as a truly timeless beauty.
