Don’t go too overboard with scrubbing your skin but weekly exfoliation is a good rule of thumb. Exfoliation keeps your pores clean and stops them from getting clogged up with dirt and bacteria. Use lukewarm water and muslin cloth over the skin in circular motions for best results.

Sun protection


Premature ageing, skin cancer and unsightly sun spots – there’s so many reasons to keep covered up. Be sure to use an SPF 50+, which will keep your skin protected from the sun for long periods of time. If you do plan on a swim, make sure your SPF is water-resistant – it can wash off!

Stay hydrated


Having fabulous skin on the outside is, in part, related to keeping hydrated on the inside. As the weather warms up, increase your water intake – especially if you workout each day. By far the cheapest, easiest and best way to keep your skin looking it’s best is to drink up.
